The Jets and the Texans have agreed to the following deal:
The Jets trade:
Carr, Derek LVR QB $25,000,000 2025 UFA Increase to 28.87m (2023)
To the Texans for:
2021 1.29
2021 3.07
2022 Houston Round 2 pick
The Jets accept. Losing a younger, talented, starting qb is tough, but I did acquire Cousins in order to make a qb swap. Carr provides the Texans with a starting qb, and the draft picks are good value for his services. Good luck to the Texans in the future.
