Full Disclosure - I understand I’m proposing this due to it affecting my team and probably not any other teams.
I propose we amend the rule of a 3 QB limit per team.
My current QB situation is a perfect example of why we need this rule changed. I currently have Cam Newton, Mac Jones, Jarrett Stidham. My issue is Stidham is supposed to be out for like 3 Months but hasn’t been put on IR therefore I can’t sign Bryan Hoyer who is NE QB3. I have been waiting to see if they would just cut Stidham or Hoyer but they haven’t yet. Now I know there’s a chance they still might and that would fix my issue but I wish I could just sign Hoyer and then deal with the cap hit if I waive him. I’ve not seen any other leagues have a limit on QBs and I feel we should be able to sign any QB that is on the team of whoever our starting QB is.
If we still need a limit, perhaps we could change the wording somehow so you can only have 3 QBs that are on different teams but you are able to sign all the backups for your current starting QB. However, I would be in favor of just scrapping the whole QB limit rule.
GMs please feel free to comment and give your thoughts. Thanks, Blaine (Chiefs)

I agree to this amendment, to the fact we can bypass the rule if it is a QB on the starting QB's same team only and you have the other QB's on said teams roster. Not per say Lamar Jackson, Kirk Cousins, and Darnold, so the amendment allows you to pick up the backups to all these QB's. I feel this amendment is for the Chiefs situation, where they have the entire QB room of 1 NFL team.

I am personally against the QB rule altogether. If someone wants to spend their resources (aka cap and roster spots) hoarding QBs let them. To me it is no different than someone hoarding LBs/WRs. Or any other position.

While I understand the reasoning behind the rule, I feel the same as the Chiefs and Falcons. If a team has the resources and wants to hoard QBs, I say go for it. My guess is the market would quickly work itself out via trades, injuries, and the waiver wire.
